Duties and responsibilities of NCC Cadets

NCC is a highly reputed body which is also a second line of Defence .Other than just military the cadets also learn several other valuable things such as selflessness ,honesty, discipline, hard work and ways to build confidence and gain leadership. In India, many youngsters are trained in line with difference in case the need arises. If young students want to make it their career option, then being a NCC cadet to hold a lot of weight. As they are directly associated with the ministry of defence . NCC is the principals of discipline obay with a smile be punctual, work hard and without fuss, make no excuses and tell no lies. Aims of NCC - To develop qualities of character, Discipline, leadership and ideals of selfless service among the youth to make them useful citizen. To create a human resource of organised and trained and motivated you to provide leadership in all walks of life including the armed forces and who are capable of taking our nation to great heights. To provide a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the armed forces. National Cadet Corps has shaped the lives of millions of the people of the country .It remains committed in producing disciplined citizens who are capable to taking our nation to great heights. leadership imparted by NCC and contribute their best to the society.

Centrally organized camps - Vagu Sainik camp, nau Sainik Camp, Rock Climbing Camp ,National Integration Camp (NIC)and Thal Sainik Camp (TSC) Army Attachment Camp(AAC) AirForce Attachment Camp(AAC) , Republic Day Camp (RDC), Independence Day Camp (IDC) ,Annual training camp ATC training provided to get it shooting physical fitness Map Reading first aid flying boat pulling ceiling and cam training covering basic of military training in army, Navy and Airforce this training is mostly carried out in schools and colleges by the cadets NCC social service activities has adopted community development activities like importance of self help need to protect the environment other social activity adult education trees plantation blood donation and draw anti dowry the early and the female infected blood visit to old age homes disaster management and relief that rule varied from where is come passive air defence including rescue work first aid evacuation of chemistry letters fire fighting and rem oval of debris to traffic control and maintenance of essential services such as motor transport Pioneer and engineer services water supply and power NCC cadets learn to take pride in them and the training also strengthens the spirit of training also strengthens the spirit of being an Indian the this helps them towards joining the forces and providing their 100% when the country is in need of them.

National Cadet Corps, Nehru Memorial College Sullia Unit, Under 19 Karnataka Battalion Madikeri. The National Cadet Corps is the youth wing of the Indian Armed Forces with its headquarters in New Delhi, which trains and motivates the youth of our country to become a disciplined person and help him join the armed forces if he wishes to.
