NMC Sullia Independence Day Celebration

The 76th Independence Day celebration was held at the Nehru Memorial College Sullia.
 Dr. K V Chidananda President, Academy of Liberal Education ® sullia hoist the flag and addressed the gathering.

The Principal of the college, Prof. Rudrakumar M. M., Pro. Balachandra Gowda,  and Principal of the Pre University college Mrs. Harini Putturaya were present.

 NCC, NSS, Red Cross, Rovers and Rangers constituents and students participated. Dr. KV Chidananda received the salute of honor by RDC 2022 attendee CSUO Abhishek A.


The highlight of the program was the cane drill lead by 2 contingent comprising 9 cadets and 3 flag holders from different angles which took the program to another level.

National Cadet Corps, Nehru Memorial College Sullia Unit, Under 19 Karnataka Battalion Madikeri. The National Cadet Corps is the youth wing of the Indian Armed Forces with its headquarters in New Delhi, which trains and motivates the youth of our country to become a disciplined person and help him join the armed forces if he wishes to.
