This plan Importance

• The applicant must have adhaar card which not linked with any other PAN Card.
• The applicant's mobile number must be linked with Aadhaar.
• It is a complete digital process and the applicant is not required to submit or upload any documents. 

How to apply for PAN 

Please visit the Income Tax Department's e-filing website, (https://eportal.incometax.gov.in/iec/foservices/#/pre-login/instant-e-pan/getNewEpan)

 Click on the 'Get New PAN' link.

Confirm by filling your Aadhaar number and entering Captcha in the space provided.

The applicant receives the OTP in the Aadhaar linked mobile number. Submit this OTP in the text box on the webpage. The Reference Number will appear. Please adjust this Reference Number for future use.

Upon successful completion, a message will be sent to the applicant's registered mobile number and e-mail ID (Registered with UIDAI and confirmed by the OTP), this message Specifies the reference number.

How to download a PAN

 To download PAN Card PDF Please visit the Income Tax E-Filing website. (https://eportal.incometax.gov.in/iec/foservices/#/pre-login/instant-e-pan/checkStatusDownloadEpan)

Submit the Aadhaar number in the window that shows 'Check Status of PAN', then submit the OTP received to the mobile number.

 Check the status of the application - whether the PAN card is approved or not. If application approved click on Download button to download E-PAN PDF File.
