Fit India Freedom Run

ಭಾರತ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಅಮೃತ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಸುಳ್ಯದ ನೆಹರು ಮೆಮೋರಿಯಲ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್‌ 25 ರಂದು ಫಿಟ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಫ್ರೀಡಂ ರನ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಜರಗಿತು. ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಎನ್.ಸಿ.ಸಿ ಘಟಕದ ಕೆಡೆಟ್‌ಗಳು, ಎನ್.ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್, ಯೂತ್ ರೆಡ್‌ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಹಾಗೂ ರೋವರ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ರೇಂಜರ್ಸ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸಂಯುಕ್ತ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಭಾರ ಎತ್ತುವ ಸ್ಫರ್ಧೆಯ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಮೇಶ್ ಎ ಅವರು ಹಸಿರು ನಿಶಾನೆ ತೋರಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು.

  ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರುದ್ರಕುಮಾರ್ ಎಂ.ಎಂ ಅವರು ಶುಭಹಾರೈಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರವೇಶದ್ವಾರದಿಂದ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದ ವೃತ್ತ, ಕೆ.ವಿ.ಜಿ ಆರ್ಯುವೇದ ಕಾಲೇಜು, ಚೆನ್ನಕೇಶವ ವೃತ್ತ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಸಾಗಿ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಮುಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಫ್ರೀಡಂ ರನ್ ಕೊನೆಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಟ್ ಎನ್.ಸಿ.ಸಿ ಆಫೀಸರ್ ಲೆಫ್ಟಿನೆಂಟ್ ಸೀತಾರಾಮ ಎಂ.ಡಿ, ಎನ್.ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಾದ ಸಂಜೀವ ಕುದ್ಪಾಜೆ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಚಿತ್ರಲೇಖ ಕೆ.ಎಸ್, ರೆಡ್‌ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಡಾ. ಅನುರಾಧ ಕುರುಂಜಿ, ರೋವರ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ರೇಂಜರ್ಸ್ ದಳದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರುಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ತಿಪ್ಪೇಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಡಿ.ಎಚ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಹರ್ಷಕಿರಣ ಬಿ.ಆರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ವಿವಿಧ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕ ವೃಂದದವರ ಸಹಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭವನ್ನು ಡಾ.‌ ಅನುರಾಧ ಕುರುಂಜಿ ಇವರು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.

The Fit India Freedom Run event was held on 25th September, 2021 at the Nehru Memorial College, Sullia, as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Mr. Ramesh A, Former national level weight lifter champion flagged off the event under the auspices presence of the college's NCC cadets, NSS, Youth Red Cross and Rover & Rangers students. 

Prof. Rudrakumar M.M, Principal of the college addressed the gathering. The fit india freedom run started from the entrance of the college and passing through the Vivekananda circle, KVG Ayurveda Medical college, Chennakeshava circle and ended at the front of the college. The event was held in collaboration of Associate NCC Officer Lt. Seetharama M.D, NSS Program Officers Mr. Sanjeeva Kudpaje and Mrs. Chitralekha K.S, Red Cross Coordinator Dr. Anuradha K.P, Heads of Rovers & Rangers Mr. Thippeswamy D.H and Mrs. Harshakirana B.R and lecturers from various departments of the college.
