Pre - IGC (i) / CATC Experience - Dhanyashree N

The pre IGC(1) / CATC camp was conducted at Alvas College Moodbidri from 16th October 2021 to 25th October 2021.  It was a 10 days camp. I had completed my 2 CATC camp and pre IGC (1) camp. We were guided to take heavy luggages for the  camp and Completed all the entries and documents were verified by the officers and P.I staff. The P.I staff suggested rules and regulations and also provided hostel rooms for cadets. On 20 th October 2021 the selection  for RDC cadets was conducted by the commanding officers from our 19 KAR BN NCC MADIKERI and other battalion commanding officers. Some NCC cadets were selected and some cadets were rejected. After the rejection from RDC selection, the cadets attended the CATC camp. In CATC, they were divided into 4 groups. They were Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta. Many officers took the theory classes, and also P I staff took the theory classes and drill practices. I was in the CATC camp, we were spending our entire day in training. That  camp gave us a good experience. The P I staff were to take care of the NCC cadets. Overall the camp experience was very good and we were enjoying it. I got a lot of knowledge, skill, etc. in that camp. So I am very happy.

Thank you..
