Pre - IGC (i) / CATC Experience - Shanvitha AG

An offline experience of NCC other than a regular class CATC Camp which was conducted at Alva's Moodbidri from 16th oct 2021 to 25th oct 2021  after almost 2 years staying in home.

Actually it was I Pre-IGC camp but then after the selection of RDC cadets  the regular CATC Camp was conducted. On 20th of oct 2021 the selection for RDC cadets was conducted which was headed by  Commanding Officer from our 19 Kar Bn NCC Madikeri and other CO's from different Betallions and also Group Commander of Manglore Group were persent. After the rejection from the RDC selection  we were divided into 4 teams i.e, Alpha, Bravo, Charlie & Delta and we were further trained as the cadets of CATC guided by many officers who helped us to improve in sections like drill, body posture, comeradship, fitness, theory classes and what may not seem like much but how properly & correctly wear the NCC uniform.

Spending almost our entire day in training at the NCC felt like home soon enough with delicious food that was surved. The camp truly gave all us a good taste of what it's like to be an NCC cadet and made us realise both our importance and responsibility towards others & the country. It also helped me to realise that I am tougher than I seem and accomplish anything with a brave heart.
